Saud Beach. (Ilocos Norte)

We were rhapsodic! Finally after 12 hours of road trip, we finally arrived at our destination. Saud beach in Ilocos Norte from what I heard is what they call the Boracay of the North. With its pristine white sand, one can really say that the long hours of driving isnt worth it.

I know we cant wait any further, and so we checked in at Evangeline's Beach Resort, which by the way costs us only Php 1500 for a room with 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed, toilet and bath, cable TV and our own porch! So we threw our bags, put on our swimwear and hit the beach!

I just have to dig my toes into the sand as soon as I saw the beach. Ahhhh life...

Since the long drive got us all exhausted, we then decided to have lunch then just chill at our room the entire afternoon. We just brought with us some booze that we bought at a town before Pagudpud. The whole afternoon was spent, again with more laughs and stories. Being by the beach made us all recuperate and as the clock hits 4pm we were all tipsy. Hehe. So we went again to the beach to swim and to see the spectacular Pagudpud sunset.

Pagudpud Sunset

We rested early since we need to get back on the road the following day. Had our sumptuous dinner of the local cuisine that evening.

Pinakbet - vegetable dish with bagnet and bagoong isda.

Bagnet - crispy fried pork similar to lechon kawali but way too better actually.

So we dozed off after dinner, recharging for another adventure, exploring Vigan Ilocos Sur.

Oh by the way heres the contact info of the resort we settled in at Saud.
